I wanted ND to win, but the outside receiver made no attempt at running a route. The inside guy was jammed badly and had no shot. I actually would blame Brian Kelly for not explaining the play better to the wideouts. “Look like you’re running a slant and aim for the inside defender.” He does that and they are #1 like you said.
